Changes to the filming schedule

This week there have been multiple obstacles thrown our way which are we trying to be flexible around:

  1. The first that we have been notified that the photos that we ordered online from freeprints.com will not arrive until the 21st of March which is after our scheduled day of filming -> this filming date was carefully picked and cannot be pushed back to the next week so we adapting to this by getting the photos printed in a local Boots store. 
  2. Although our filming schedule was agreed on by all involved a month ago, we have been thrown an unexpected curveball an our main actor cannot make it to filming on Sunday the 18th (which is the main filming day) due to a family emergency -> in order to facilitate and support this, we have rearranged to film everything on Monday the 19th, which does not leave any room for error as we will only have a few hours to film many scenes across three different locations.
  3. This also means we will have to keep an eye on the weather for Monday as we are filming some scenes outside so hopefully it stays only cloudy as expected as we hope that it will not rain during the filming at Lady Dixon Park in which the shots would look dull.
  4. Another setback is that one of our extras cannot make it to filming on Monday -> however we quickly found a replacement. Although he is unexperienced, he is reliable and enthusiastic to participate in the project
Evidently one of our strengths as a team is our adaptability as we have overcome multiple unfortunate situations this week, however our dedication to the project means we are unwilling to settle for less and let the project suffer so we have pulled together to come up with solid solutions.

The Editing Process The editing program we used in the editing process was Adobe Photoshop on a Mac computer. Our lack of budgeting made the editing process difficult as we had to resort to using a 7 day free trail which we used to make changes and create our final poster design (see below). We easily found a clean and neat template online to lay over the poster for the title and credits. We increased the saturation of the image to bring out and emphasise the red background of the clock which is another important motif in the film. Sharpening the image as well as blurring and darkening the left side of clock with an application of shadows made the red stand even in an even more striking and thrilling way which was our goal for the poster.
